Teen Council's Art Contest
Open to Middle School and High School aged teens from Van Alstyne, Howe, and Anna.
Entry forms are available at the library or from your art teacher. You do no have to be a registered student to enter. Deadline for dropoff is May 7th by 6pm. Your art must meet specifications given in the Rules and the $3 entry fee must be paid at the time of drop off. No late entries will be accepted. You may download an Rules and Entry form HERE.
The Award Ceremony will held at the library, Thursday, May 10th, beginning at 6pm. Prizes will be awarded for Best in Show for both Middle School and High School as well as Runner Up's and Recognized. Prizes will be awarded! Also, each contestant will be able to sit with the judges for a private critique. Cake and punch will be served.
We encourage family to arrive early either the day of the ceremony or come Tuesday or Wednesday to view all the entries.
Jammie Brigade
This month's Jammie Brigade will heading to the Crisis Center, Wednesday, May 16th. Teens going this month are Aubrey, Joe, Dillon, and Alex. This months puppet show is Falling for Rapunzel and it is going to be hilarious! If you would like to catch a sneak peek, come to the children's bi-lingual storytime Tuesday, May 15th at 4pm.
