The 1940 Census records were released by the US National Archives April 2, 2012, and brought online through a partnership with Archives.com. You can view  1940 census images at The1940Census.com.

The 1940 Census not yet been indexed to be a searchable database. Want to help? Visit this site and download the census indexing software, then you can be a volunteer transcribing batches of images.
